Sunday Morning

Sunday morning provides the foundation for our Preschool and Children’s Ministry as we seek to share God’s love and to help bring children to a point in their lives where they will choose to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. The Bible is used as the textbook along with age/grade appropriate Biblical truths and learning activities that enable good Biblical foundations to be introduced and built upon.

Preschool:

  • Nursery care is provided for babies – one year olds.
  • We offer lessons for children age 2 – 5 that are planned using Biblically sound curriculum and are reinforced with play, music and craft activities.
  • Preschool children stay in their classrooms during both hours of worship. Our classrooms are located on the 2nd floor.

Please review the following information as you make plans to join us:

What to Bring (infants – 3 year olds):

Note: All personal items should be labeled with your child’s name. This will help us keep track of your child’s belongings.

  • For babies and 1 year olds a pacifier, special blanket or other items your child find soothing
  • Disposable diapers or pull-ups
  • Complete change of clothing
  • A bottle containing what you would like your baby to drink
When you Arrive:
  • Check-in: Preschool parents will sign in and pick-up their security/pager number at the Preschool Welcome Desk. Once you receive your security please go to the classroom and knock on the door and wait for the teacher to greet the child. We discourage parents from entering the room to reduce the risk of little ones slipping out unnoticed and to avoid upsetting children who are already in the room. Parents fill-out a security log that indicates your security number and where you will be during your time at church.
  • Paging System: If your child gets sick or has a problem, we will flash your security number on the screen to the right and left of the pulpit in the sanctuary. The number will also appear on the lower corners of the screen in the FLC Worship center. If your number has been paged, please come to the preschool Welcome Desk and someone will assist you.
  • Pick-Up: You will need to present your security number to your child’s teacher at the time of pick-up. If you do not have the security number, you will be asked to show identification.

  • You will be given a security number and are to complete the security log
  • We discourage you from entering the room
