Weekday Preschool
The Cave Spring Baptist Preschool is located in the Children’s Wing, and is part of the Outreach Ministry of the church, serving children from both the church and community. We strive to be an extension of your family, giving the children the loving care and guidance that they need in their formative years.
Our preschool is dedicated to meeting the needs of the whole child: spiritually, emotionally, socially, physically, and mentally. The staff strives to provide a relaxed learning atmosphere. Our philosophy is geared toward helping each child grow into a responsible, mature Christian adult. In our program we expose children to different learning situations.
In the course of a day, the children may experience the following activities: crafts, hymns and songs, finger plays, show and tell, science, phonics, alphabet, visual and sequential concepts, puzzles, manipulative, play dough, blocks, housekeeping corner, musical instruments, nursery rhymes, manners, and the reading of books. Gross motor skills are enhanced by utilizing the toddler playground, children’s playground and gymnasium.
